The idea behind this links directory was to create a Directory Index of... well as the name says
'a Directory Index' where webmasters can list a website with no oblication for a reciprocal link.
This is still the case, however things have changed and now many 'good resorce' web sites seam mate together and create a linking neighborhood.
It is widely known know many well estabilished directories and search engines
have good pagerank, even though they have 1000's more outbound links than inbound links, why is this the case....
1. We know that search engines want 'good resource' sites to be ranked high.
2. We all know that Backlinks are extremely important to your websites rankings.
3. Many of us forget to think beyond backlinks and into linking neighborhoods.
4. Another way to help your site become a 'good resource' is by linking out to relevant sites within your sites topics.
'Good Resource' tends to belong to a focused community of websites and linking out to a long standing website with good Google PR, like ours, will i'm sure help us both.
